What is your idea about yourself? What is the grandest version of the greatest vision you ever had about Who You Are? Conversations with God constantly invites us to create that. Once you decide specifically what that is, then you know what you are doing here, and you will find yourself doing other things less and less. Create a context within which to live your life. Give yourself a purpose, a meaning. Give yourself a mission. Call yourself something! Just call yourself something. Call yourself “brave” or call yourself “kind”. Call yourself “smart” or “wealthy”. Or call yourself all of …

I changed my thinking about plants. I simply made the statement:
“I am great with plants. I know how to treat them, and all my plants have healthy, successful lives.”
I have not lost a plant since.

This is an article I wrote previously, when I was between my first bichon Patsy and my girls now, Gracie and Lucie. I have found no matter how many dogs you know, none are alike. Dogs are like snowflakes, only much larger and warmer. This may seem like a tribute, (and probably is) but it is my accounting of her presence in my life, what I appreciated the most.
Who am I now, without a living dog, present in my life? I find that I do not have the excited frenzy of the possibility of meeting new people, meeting strangers that …

The rule I was taught about working hard, physical labor, being a path to abundance, happiness and joy is not always (or is it ever?) true. What is true is that we must trust our hearts: that voice within us that speaks to us to write, to dance, and to take a nap, regardless of the monetary rewards.
If we can do that we may experience a real miracle, that of following our hearts, our spirit’s yearning, and a whole different definition of hard work. Having the courage to listen to what is specific to your soul, “the different drummer” so to speak, is not comfortable.

. In my work with people, I find many who are actually dying with congestive heart failure because they have not forgiven someone or something. The heart is a muscle, and if it isn’t exercised both physically and emotionally, it can get out of shape,

“There are people so lonely, they think God is lonely too” Carl Sandburg
Society creates the rules the world is ran by. If we are judgmental, people are judgmental to us. Most of the time it is what we were trained to think, we do not see outside ourselves. There are people so judgmental, they think God is judgmental too.
My belief is we are here to experience free will. We are here to choose love, even in fact, when others are not. Like prime numbers or primary colors, all feelings can be condensed down into 1 of 2 prime emotions: love …

Laughter. Giggles. Joy. A vibrational impulse that puts a smile on your face. Many jokes, pranks and people have put a smile on my face, but none have done it as consistently as the furry face that I see everyday that wanted to be called “Elvis”, my cat. I have come to realize that while some beings and animals vibrate at a rate that makes us think of perfect love, Elvis vibrates at a level that brings out the laughter and smiles.
I first saw Elvis almost two years ago, in July at an adoptathon I was working at …

“You can either live your life like everything is a miracle, or nothing is” Einstein
One of the main changes that happened with living an enlightened life is that miracles became possible again. Magic can and does happen. From a white owl on my carport staring at me across the hood of my car then flying under the roof of the house where no space existed, to seeing fairies, to knowing what will be said next, I have experienced magic. The possibility in a moment is infinite, limited only by our belief, soul contracts and some basic universal laws. Our …
