There is an energy that is loves us that want us to fulfill our purpose and simply wants us to be happy. Why do we have such a hard time believing that something so miraculous could happen in our lives?
Currently, 30% of the animals being turned in to the shelters are done so because of behavior issues. My belief is that as humans we are letting these dogs down, I was called in earlier in the year by Small Paws because a woman who adopted a dog wanted to turn the dog into the humane society because he had “maybe” bitten someone. Mythbusters the show on Discovery (yes a TV SHOW) tackled the old myth that “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”. Of course, within one day of working with the dogs that were elderly Alaskan malamutes (11 years old), the dogs learned to sit down, lay down and heel.
