I thank all of you who entered the contest, what makes your furbaby unique. One of the facts that was glaringly apparent to me, is that you all love your dogs and are loved by your dogs. That in itself is sacred, and I feel honored for you to have shared that with me. Dogs do not get written up in “who’s who in business” or run for elected office, but they do perform in such a way that we admire, and they get their humans thru the day.

If you are a dog lover like I am, and a fan of cartoons, you may remember a cartoon that was on when I was a child. I do not remember it well enough to remember the dog’s name off-hand, and would love someone to remind me. It was this cartoon dog, which, once he received a treat, would float up to the clouds, and lay there on his back, satiated, floating along on a cloud. He was very, very obviously, a happy dog.
Today I read about another version of a “Happy” dog, and I couldn’t wait to share it …

I appeared at the Equine Affaire in LA last year, and needed someone to watch my jewelry while I did sessions. A friend in LA told me her son, (in his thirties) had just finished massage school and was free to help me. I thought he would be in the same mindset as me, since his mother was involved in the metaphysical “new age” beliefs, and also, I expected someone who was into massage to be considerate and sensitive.
Well, when he showed up, he actually stated: “I don’t believe animals have emotions.”
